I recommend you talk to our mutual friend about it. He’ll offer some insight and you can see if it’ll work for you. You do have to lean over it, but it’s the same as doing art with non-digital media anyway. I still think it will be great for you.

Also want to point out that if you get the 21 inch one that’s a HUGE display to be viewing that close. Cintiqs are really an idea that sounds better on paper than it really is, may as well just get a high end windows tablet PC imo.

Meh. I always liked not having my hand in front of my picture when I paint, plus if you get one you need a desk setup to use it because it’s not very convenient to hold in your lap. Doesn’t help that it costs a fortune. /negative nancy
